In partnership with the Columbus Blue Jackets, CCYHA and Columbus Ice Hockey Club, this session is for athletes with visual impairments, physical limitations and/or special needs. Participants do not need any previous skating or hockey experience as this on-ice clinic will introduce the exciting sport of hockey in a fun and safe environment. During the one-hour session, participants will learn the basic skills of skating and hockey including stickhandling, passing and shooting. Participants will receive on-ice instruction by USA Hockey certified coaches, complimentary skate rental, an ice hockey stick and a Blue Jackets GOAL! jersey to keep.
